Create A New Tenant

A tenant is a logically isolated partition within the AppForms platform that enables multiple organizations or departments to use the same AppForms infrastructure while keeping their data, users, forms, and configurations separate.

It can be thought of as a dedicated workspace or container for a specific customer, business unit, or project within a shared AppForms environment.

Accessing the Tenant Management Page

Steps to Create a Tenant

  1. Enter the Tenant/Site Name in the Tenant Name field.
  2. (Optional) Upload a logo for the tenant.
  3. Configure the available options:
    • Navigate to Tenant After Creation
      When selected, the system will automatically redirect you to the newly created tenant after saving.
    • Create Default Admin
      When enabled, a default administrator account will be automatically created for the tenant.
  4. Click Save Tenant to complete the creation process.

Accessing the Tenant Designer

Alternative Access Method

You can also access the Designer directly using the following URL format:

https://<host>/designer/#/<tenant_name>/workspace/

Replace:

  • <host> with your server hostname
  • <tenant_name> with the name of the tenant you created

 This will open the Designer interface specific to the newly created tenant or site. You can now start creating folders and forms within Designer.
